Just like Kanye before, Zedd and Kanye gets a second entry on the list with Clarity. Bieber records a third one on his side, As Long As You Love Me. That song, as well as Mercy, feature Big Sean. 2012 was a big year for all of them.

Ke$ha is there too thanks to Die Young. Avicii is a few ranks higher with I Could Be The One.

Breaking the 200 million mark is Whistle by Flo Rida. While those aren’t bad results at all, its popularity is no doubt on a decreasing phase as the song was the #9 of the year for the IFPI.

Carly Rae Jepsen has actually had a couple of other hits since “Call me maybe”. “Good time”, with owl City, was a top 10 hit in various markets (US, UK, Japan, France, Belgium, Australia). “I really like you” was a european hit in 2015 (#3 in the UK, top 20 in The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Germany, Denmark). It also reached the top 20 in her native Canada and Japan. Well, that’s about it. 🙂


Born to die really is a streaming monster, she is one of the top 10 most streamed females on spotify!
