Streaming World: Back To 2012

2012 TOP 100 HITS – #12

The Script feat. – Hall Of Fame – 365 358 000

As you understood, low peaks doesn’t always mean low success. Hall of Them peaked at #25 only in the US, but it still sold 3 million units there. #1 in the UK, Hall of Fame is still kind of strange. The song never felt so big and The Script are never mentioned among the leading force of the streaming World. Figures don’t lie though and the truth is that Hall of Fame is a terrific smash with 365 million streams up to date.

The 14th most streamed 2012 song by late 2014, the song is actually climbing towards this ranking, currently sitting at #12.

Carly Rae Jepsen has actually had a couple of other hits since “Call me maybe”. “Good time”, with owl City, was a top 10 hit in various markets (US, UK, Japan, France, Belgium, Australia). “I really like you” was a european hit in 2015 (#3 in the UK, top 20 in The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Germany, Denmark). It also reached the top 20 in her native Canada and Japan. Well, that’s about it. 🙂
