France Best Selling Albums Ever:
Update Part 3

France

Part 3! Already 51 albums into our comprehensive update of historical best selling albums in France, we will be reviewing 25 more LPs today including several ones from the all-time Top 20.

After going through all worst sellers nowadays, we are reaching a list of albums with mixed catalog sales, definitely not good but not too bad either. Selling 2,000 plus units per year, those albums are the last ones that won’t get their total sales updated as we are still working with figures rounded at the closest 5,000 fragment. If they maintain their current appeal into 2017, next year update will see all of them jump to the next rounded value. As in previous articles, albums are listed per decade from oldest to youngest, starting with the 70s.

  1. If I understand how this list is going, Michael Jackson’s four studio albums that meet this 1M+ mark in France (Thriller-HIStory) are all selling well as catalog albums, perhaps the best of any R&B/pop catalog act!
