Just under the Top 10 and just under the 100-million club as well, results of Britney Spears are still massive. Her Baby One More Time is near 31 million equivalent album sales, one of the biggest albums of its era. Recent days have been hard for the pop star yet. The release of Glory after our article about her barely added a thing to her tally. Up to three disappointments in a row, reversing the trend appears to be ever harder by now.

In previous pages we saw several artists performing better in streaming than in downloads than in physical sales. Britney Spears does very exactly the opposite which reveals her fast decreasing popularity. Her catalog doesn’t sell well either which means her total is increasing at a very low rate. By now, she still tops all acts minus one – guess who? – that first emerged since her debut but this situation will soon change if she doesn’t manage to drop new hits.
