Physical Singles Sales
Although by 2010 when Justin Bieber took off worldwide physical sales were virtually dead everywhere except in Japan, the singer managed to build a fan base of collectors, selling physical records in a much higher proportion than other young pop stars. Obviously, considering how much of a niche market this is, figures are still low in absolute terms.
As a reminder, the weighting is done with a 10 to 3 ratio between one album and one physical single.
